Heart Opening - Mobilise, Open, and Expand to Full Wheel
A full, methodically structured practice leading to one of yoga’s most expansive shapes - Urdhva Dhanurasana, full wheel. Nothing here is rushed. The class builds systematically through thoracic spine mobilisation, heart and shoulder opening across multiple shoulder angles, and active work through the legs, glutes, and hip flexors - everything the body needs to access a deep, productive backbend. The opening of the front hip and inner thighs is woven in deliberately, providing the support that makes the difference between forcing a backbend and moving into one. Designed for a range of practitioners - not just the flexible ones. Throughout the class, options are available to meet you wherever your current range of movement is, so the practice is genuinely accessible without being watered down.
