Tittibhasana - Hip & Core Strength to find Flight (Intermediate)

Tittibhasana is a pose that asks for everything at once - deep hip opening, strong and active shoulders, engaged core, and the ability to hold it all together while your feet leave the ground. This class prepares the body systematically for exactly that. After warming up the key muscle groups, we move into focused hip mobility work - targeting both the inner and outer hip - to create the depth that Tittibhasana demands. From there, the practice builds progressively through preparatory shapes, developing the connection between hips and shoulders, before arriving at the full pose. Options are available throughout to work in the preparation, the pose itself, and the jump-back to Chaturanga. A class for practitioners who want to understand the pose, not just attempt it.
